VP Mobile Engineering @ Flam | Real-Time 3D/4D · Edge AI · Computer Vision · Spatial Computing

About

I lead engineering at Flam, an AI-native content platform building the immersive, interactive formats that come after video — photorealistic experiences that run instantly on an ordinary phone, with no app to install. Over thirteen years in software, I have focused on products where the core technology is the central challenge taking early concepts through to production systems, standing up R&D to advance the problems that remain unsolved, and scaling the engineering organization as the work matures. My focus sits at the intersection of applied research and shipping: turning frontier techniques in AI, real-time rendering, and computer vision into products that hold up in real conditions, on real devices, at real scale. I see my role as two things above all — determining what is worth building, and developing the team capable of building it. I favor high-ownership teams, stay close to the technical detail to set the standard directly, and cultivate an environment where the strongest reasoning prevails over hierarchy. Beyond work, I have a lasting interest in astrophysics and cosmology.
