Chief Product & Growth Officer at Fam | Building financial independence for young India | Prev. Growth & Membership at Chime, Gopuff, Amazon Prime

About

I've spent a decade on one question: what makes someone choose a brand, and keep choosing it. At Amazon, I led acquisition and personalization for Prime, the largest membership program in the world. At Gopuff, I built a free loyalty program from a blank page, then ran growth end to end with product and marketing under one roof. At Chime, I was brought in to lead growth and membership through the run-up to IPO — setting the strategy, building the team, owning the P&L, and rebuilding how the company acquired and kept members. Scaling the world's largest subscription business and building loyalty from zero are usually two different careers. Doing both taught me that loyalty isn't a program you launch. It's what's left over when the product genuinely works for people. Chime proved it: its NPS is among the highest in the industry not because of a rewards mechanic, but because it works for the underserved and underbanked. Today I'm Chief Product and Growth Officer at Fam, back home in India, leading product, growth marketing, and design. Fam sits at the intersection I care most about — financial tools and real independence for young India. Three things I've come to believe, mostly the hard way. - The user comes first, always. Sometimes that looks like a bad business decision this quarter. Over a long enough horizon it's the only thing that compounds, and sustainable growth is the only kind worth building. - Investing in the team is the whole game. When people grow, the company grows exponentially. I've never seen it work in the other direction. - And real innovation comes from being in the ring — carrying the P&L, day in and day out. I've owned a number at every stop, and it changes every decision you make. Product and engineering should be accountable for outcomes, not launches. Always happy to talk membership, subscriptions, and loyalty — or what it takes to earn trust from a generation with no patience for the old playbook.
