Key areas of work involve: — Conducting market research and user interviews. — Brainstorming and defining product requirements with the PMs. — Designing, prototyping and testing new features and interfaces. — Working with the developers to make sure everything comes together just right. Highlights: — Redefined the user experience across all products based on a new unified design system which is modular and can be used for data-driven experiments. — Baked one-of-a-kind features specific to Indian retail market such as Multi-tier Pricing, Group Deals, Watchlist and Bulk Order Requests. Resulted in ~35% increase in Average Order Values. — Restructured crucial experiences like Cart, Checkout and Payments along with the overall information architecture for better usability. — Redesigned Home Page, Search and Navigation user experiences for better discovery of products on the Shotang Retailer App. — Introduced Market Analytics on Seller Marketplace for allowing sellers to make more informed decisions on what to sell. Increased seller engagement on the platform. — Redesigned reconciliation experiences and introduced fraud prevention and process adherence features in the logistics segment. — Improved rider experience on pickup and delivery in the Shotang Logistics App. Reduced errors by ~100%.
