Using mobile sensor information such as GPS, Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Proximity we derive driving behaviors such as overspeeding, rash driving and roads profiling to help insurers get better insights into their portfolio to devise both preventive and prescriptive policies to reduce the combined ratio. As a Founder, I led Product, Business Development and AI solutions. The details around product and successes we achieved are as follows 1. Final Product: SDK for android applications, Android application, and Analytics dashboard. 2. High battery consumption; we were able to reduce the battery consumption by ~200% 3. Inaccurate GPS sensor information: Using Kalman filtering and clustering algorithms we reduced such errors. 4. Roads Condition: Lack of public data on roads condition we devised an algorithm to capture damaged roads. 5. Partnered up with a foodtech startup to help them optimize their fleet operations.
