Position Title: Head of Marketing Country/City/ Department: Bangalore (Corporate) Immediate Supervisor: CEO -Retail Experience: 15-20 years Industry: Retail Minimum Qualification: MBA in Marketing along with prior experience in Brand Management, Events, Digital, PR, Sales and CRM. Key Responsibility Areas The primary role of the Marketing Head is to create and drive traffic by delivering differentiated, sponsorable experiences (campaigns, initiatives, events) and the development of a comprehensive annual marketing strategy, inclusive of acquisition and activation tactics. (physical and digital). Overall responsibility for developing marketing strategies and plans to contribute to the malls rental and profit growth by developing differentiated marketing platforms for future growth and profitability. Giving strategic direction to the mall teams through consumer research, data analytics, and macro market trends. Provides thought-partnership and activation opportunities for retailers. Conduct monthly and quarterly meetings with them in order to derive the required consumption. Formulating long term/ short term strategic plans in changing Market Dynamics to enhance the business opportunities for the organization and to achieve the desired GTO and footfalls. Analyzing business potential, conceptualizing & forecasting monthly/ annual sales targets, & achieving desired objectives. Monitoring competitor activities and devise effective countermeasures. Lead the brand communications which includes Print, Radio, Outdoor, PR, and Social Media. Provide Leadership & Training, formulate process templates & guidelines. Enhance teamwork & motivate. Encourage and enable subject matter experts to derive actual insights that could help business to take strategic decisions. Develop, spearhead and implement overall strategic SOH plans that ensures sales & proper utilization of the earmarked non-leasable spaces across the retail malls. Spearhead the SOH to enable the increase in earnings & occupancy of all the spaces which includes Ad Panels, Temporary Exhibition Spaces & Temporary Kiosks. Develop & maintain relations with Tenant & Non-Tenant Brands and various National / Regional Media Buying Agencies, to enable regular & uninterrupted demand cum sales. Driving the Social Media landscape and CRM initiatives of the company by conducting analytical studies through the digital medium to find and understand various changing consumer buying trends, changing taste, consumer expectations. Consistent networking and relationship building with media across states to successfully execute and lead the PR calendar via press releases, management profiling, media interactions and industry quotes. Establish, communicate and enforce standards and guidelines for external marketing communications and corporate branding to ensure consistency and level of quality and objectives are achieved. To recruit, motivate and develop staff ensuring that performance is measured, training needs established and succession plans developed. Ensuring compliance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
