## About

Three domains have shaped most of the last six years of my career: fintech rails, consumer\-scale backend systems, and internal AI/platform infrastructure\. Joined Kiwi as a founding engineer in late 2022 and currently lead a team of \~10 engineers across backend and DevOps\. Since then, the product has scaled from zero to adding roughly a million new users every two months, and the engineering systems have had to evolve just as aggressively alongside it\. My day\-to\-day spans backend architecture, infrastructure reliability, system\-design reviews, and debugging across services, along with helping the team grow into stronger owners across architecture, security, and cost governance\. Stack: Java, Go, PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, Kafka/SQS, Kubernetes on EKS\. A pattern across my career: take an ambiguous problem in an unfamiliar domain, ship a measurable first version, then automate and scale it until it becomes operationally boring\. Before Kiwi: • At PayU, worked on the GIMAC dispute\-management system for partner banks across Africa and was the sole developer on the ONDC seller\-services pilot\. • At Embibe, built exam\-readiness automation systems and Kubernetes\-native distributed performance\-testing infrastructure\.

Senior Software Engineer at Kiwi, Dec 2022 \- May 2026 · 3 yrs 6 mos, On\-site, • Built and scaled core backend systems at Kiwi from the company’s early\-stage launch through rapid consumer growth and high\-volume fintech workloads\. • Led production\-readiness and scaling efforts for IPL\-driven traffic surges, improving platform reliability during extreme spikes in onboarding and user activity\. • Architected distributed\-system improvements across async processing, caching, QoS controls, and performance optimization initiatives on EKS\.

Software Engineer at PayU, Apr 2022 \- Dec 2022 · 9 mos, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, • Part of Wibmo's \(A PayU company\) Platform Engineering team, built shared services and primitives reused across multiple LoBs to accelerate their delivery velocity\. • Led the GIMAC \(Central Bank of Africa\) integration for PayU's Dispute Management System, built the lifecycle APIs powering inter\-bank dispute resolution across partner banks\. • Sole developer on PayU's ONDC seller\-services \(OSAS\) pilot, designed and shipped seller onboarding and order flows end\-to\-end for the pilot launch\.

Software Development Engineer at Embibe, Jul 2020 \- Apr 2022 · 1 yr 10 mos, Bangalore Urban, Karnataka, India, • Built the Exam Maturity Framework, 200\+ functional, content, and algorithmic checks \(Apache Airflow, 30\+ DAGs\) that flagged data\-hygiene issues pre\-prod and gated exam\-readiness\. • Built a Locust\-on\-Kubernetes distributed perf\-testing framework, auto\-generates load scripts from cURLs; cut perf\-test setup from days to minutes for the platform team\. • Shipped QA OnDemand \(FastAPI\), self\-serve reporting \+ flow\-automation tool used by 1,500\+ faculty for content hygiene, data\-gap analysis, and running automated test/practice flows\.
